How it works:

The original setting IDs are kept intact so all existing content populates automatically when each section switches over. For standard migrations, sections are rebuilt using blocks, Metafields, and Shopify's current architecture. Metafields reduce dozens of one-off templates down to a handful of flexible ones the team can actually manage.
